Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids

There is strong evidence that points out the importance of omega-3 fatty acids in helping improve asthma and other allergic symptoms. Omega-3 fatty acids are said to have some anti-inflammatory properties and can assist in strengthening immunity. A strong immune system is vital in the prevention of spring allergies, so anything that works towards this end is highly recommended during this season. Among the foods high in omega-3 fatty acids are fish, especially salmon, sardines, and mackerel.
