1- Apple, kiwi, and kale smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes
  • 1 cup of kale leaves (without ribs and thick stems), chopped
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 green apple, peeled, seeded, and sliced
  • 1 tbsp. ground flax seed
  • 1 cup of unsweetened chilled almond milk
  • 1 tsp. of linseed
  • 1 tsp. of honey

Directions:

1 Add all the ingredients in a blender.

2 Blend at medium-high speed until smooth.

3 Taste and add some honey to adjust the sweetness if necessary.

2. Blackberries and orange smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of supreme orange*
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. of honey

* With a knife remove the skin and cut out the segments.

Directions:

1 Add all the ingredients in a blender.

2 Blend at medium-high speed until smooth.

3 Taste and add some honey to adjust the sweetness if necessary.

3. Pumpkin and fig smoothie

  • 1/2 cup of ice cubes
  • 1 cup of unsweetened pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 3 figs
  • 1 tbsp. of pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 tsp. of ground cinnamon

Directions:

1 Add all the ingredients in a blender.

2 Blend at medium-high speed until smooth.

  • 1/2 cup of chilled almond milk

  • 1 tbsp. of unsweetened almond butter

Directions:

1 Add all the ingredients in a blender.

5. Chocolate and peanut butter smoothie

  • 1 tsp. of honey + to adjust the sweetness
