1. Showering with unfiltered water

The water coming out of your showerhead happens to be unfiltered and contains many bacteria and microbes that can seep into your body through pores and cause diseases. To protect yourself from that you need to attach a filter to your showerhead to make sure that most of the bacteria are trapped.

2. Not Cleaning Makeup Brushes

Your makeup brushes accumulate the material you use them on overtime and they can end up attracting bacteria that decompose those makeup materials. The next time you use the brushes, the bacteria present in them can go inside your body and can potentially lead to many harmful effects on your body.

3. Rinsing your mouth with alcohol

Although rinsing the mouth with alcohol can kill most of the bacteria inside it, it also leads to your mouth drying out completely. The loss of saliva means that the bacteria, toxins and other harmful substances trapped by saliva get a safe passage to the inside of your body, potentially causing many problems.

4. Wearing panty liners every day

Although panty liners protect your clothes from soaking in vaginal discharge and blood; but wearing them every day can lead to hygienic consequences. Panty liners happen to create a moist environment between your legs and provide ample conditions for bacteria to grow and fester. These bacteria can move inside your vagina and possibly cause infections.

5. Skipping the Daily Floss

Flossing rids your teeth of the tiny food particles that get stuck between them. These food particles, if left alone during the night, can attract bacteria that decompose them. The bacteria that gathers near those areas produce toxins that can harm your teeth and possibly cause cavities and other oral issues for you.

6. Using harsh synthetic soaps

Synthetic soaps often contain chemicals that derive your skin of natural essential oils. These oils are necessary to keep your skin moist and replenish your skin with nutrients and other substances. If these oils are removed, the skin will start losing nutrients and will soon get weaker.

7. Exfoliating Your Skin more than necessary

Exfoliating is a good activity since it rids your skin of dead skin cells and keeps it healthy. However, if you do it too much, the blood vessels in your skin will sustain damage and will stop supplying the skin with oxygen, leading to possible skin cell death. Too much exfoliating can permanently damage your skin.
